The shot was a perfect double lung with an exit wound in the back of the right shoulder. He dropped 19 yards from where I hit him. My friend, Mike Jones, got the whole thing on video--the lighted nock made it great!
Just wanted you to know how much I enjoy my new bow. I've had many different brands in the last few years including Matthews and Hoyt but none like this Hickory Creek. The more time I spend shooting, the more I want to shoot.
I shot this buck about 10 days after I bought my bow and was very impressed with the performance of the bow. Well you take care, and have a wonderful holiday.
i got my drawloc unit to add to my Hoyt bow after a elbow operation a few years back in the fall of 06 at the end of the season i got what they call scar tissue to the point where i cannot hold my reg bow back more than few seconds . then i started watching hickory creek on the mens chann after calling and talking to them and i was given the local dealer who installed and laser tune it in the summer of 07 and i was ready.
this is the best product for those that dont want a crossbow easy to use and set up with the proper person help i have show it to many others and let them shoot it all have hit the heart zone in one or two shots from 20yds or better try that with a reg compond when shooting the frist time---i will be promoteing the draw loc for many yrs to come and my hope is some day soon to go on a hunt for hogs with jerry and his crew --hoping it not just a dream
